Zenyatta

​Zenyatta is a character from the game Overwatch by Blizzard Entertainment, he was the first full body armored cosplay I have made (well mostly full body, he has pants ahaha). I chose to do him cause I really wanted to challenge myself and create something out of my comfort zone, I wish I could wear him more but sadly I can only keep him on for a few hours before I am done.

The Process

The whole build was made out of craft foam or EVA foam, I did use some clay for his head piece though! I wired LED lights into his orbs to crate the glowing. It was all hand painted with different metallic paints, I think my favorite part of it is probably the gloves or the orbs personally! The arms I sorta cheated and used some old Genos arms I had.

The Memories

Zenyatta has a lot of memories with it, I premiered him at a convention in Spain where I met one of my international friends Geheichou! From there I brought him to A-Kon and got to do a shoot with Alyson with her Talon Widowmaker. I also wore him briefly at Anime Matsuri, he is always a hit with people and I am glad I can give some representation to those underrate character.
