Wolf Link

Wolf Link is a design I made based of Links alternate form The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess by Nintendo. After playing Breath of the Wild and seeing all the different outfits he had, I had my own idea, what if Link had armor based of his wolf form from the aforementioned game! And thus, Wolf Link was born!

The Process

To make this I actually took an old Link cosplay I made years ago and altered it for the base! The fabric for the tunic and top wrap is a green knit and the trim is grey faux wolf fur. The armor is made from EVA foam and the mask I sculpted atop a base one to give it more details. The teeth necklace was made from polymorph and the resin gems have a glow in the dark powder to them! I actually wore this once and then upgraded it for another convention, sadly I don't have any pro photos of the upgrade.

The Memories

I loved wearing Wolf Link cause it was a design I made! It was so much fun to work with all these different elements. On a whim, I entered the RTX cosplay contest in 2017 and I won Best in Show with it!!! I was completely caught off guard and it was an amazing feeling. I also got to shoot this with my friend Heidi in Twilight Princess Zelda cosplay at Anime Expo and it was just a fun time.
