Bird Howl

​Howls bird form is an alternate form of the character from Howls Moving Castle by Studio Ghibli. This was my first really hard cosplay I worked on back in 2014, I had no idea what I was getting into honestly and would love to remake this someday but even so I really do still enjoy it and am proud of what I was able to do even though I was just "winging" it or the most part.

The Process

I honestly did not have any idea what I was doing ahaha. This was made by first making a black vest and then I glue feathes down to the entire thing. Same with the wings! All it is is a PVC pipe and feathers glued down to a cloth, I also made my own harness for it. The Memories

​I wore this once, to A-Kon in 2014 and that was it, one of the wings broke at the con and it was a mess! Ahahaha, the cosplay was a lot of fun to try out but there are many things I could do to make it better nowadays but for what it was I am still very proud of it and look fondly on it.
