Riku

Riku is character from Kingdom Hearts by Square Enix, he is one of my favorite characters! Hes another case of me making a cosplay a week after the design is released aha. I really loved how he looked and knew I had to make it, even if I am more of a Sora.

The Process

Riku is made out of Yaya Hans stretch pleather, along with some thick yellow canvas cotton fabric and some thick cotton for his pants that hand dyed myself to get a purple tint to! The leather straps were re-purposed from an old cosplay and dyed with black leather paint. All of it is hand made by me asides the shirt! The Memories

I wore Riku to Amke and a convention in Mexico! I have a lot of fond memories crafting more so than wearing him! Though I made this cosplay more for my fiance Andrew to wear than for me to wear and he wore it to Acen 2018!
